FNF Blake Expansion
Friday Night Funkin’: Blake Expansion is a massive fan-made FNF mod packed with new songs, extra story content, and fresh characters. If you want a version of Friday Night Funkin’ with way more content than the base game, this mod has a lot to offer.
A Huge Expansion for FNF
The biggest highlight of Blake Expansion is the amount of content it adds. The mod includes Erect remixes, Pico mixes, remixed older songs, and brand-new tracks made just for this project. It also brings in extra characters, including Blake and a returning Tankman, making the whole experience feel much bigger than a normal FNF mod.
Instead of feeling like a small bonus pack, Blake Expansion plays more like a full second campaign with multiple weeks of story and music to explore.
New Story Weeks
Blake Expansion adds Week 8, Week 9, and other exclusive story weeks. These weeks go much darker than the usual Friday Night Funkin’ storyline.
Week 8
In Week 8, Daddy Dearest traps Boyfriend inside the Dearest family basement with a strange glowing creature named Bingo. Bingo is a failed family experiment that the Dearest household has been trying to bring back through cloning, rituals, and strange tests. Things get even stranger when Brother Bearest appears wearing a rotten pumpkin on his head and challenges Boyfriend to a rap battle. Soon after, a creature called Monster emerges from the pumpkin and starts its own musical showdown. Later, it’s revealed that much of what happened was an illusion placed inside Boyfriend and Girlfriend’s minds. The truth is that Monster is actually a dangerous government experiment that escaped and began hunting people connected to the Dearest family.
Week 9
Week 9 focuses on Nene, who is still angry after her failed attempt to kill Boyfriend in Weekend 1. She follows Pico to his parents’ shop and attacks Boyfriend and Girlfriend with knives. Boyfriend must battle Nene in two songs while trying to survive the fight. The situation ends when Girlfriend uses her powers to turn Nene’s own knife against her. After that, Pico drags Nene away, and she finally agrees to call off the bounty on Boyfriend.
Why the Mod Stands Out
What makes Blake Expansion special is that it doesn’t just add songs. It also gives players:
- Longer story content
- More serious character moments
- Darker plot twists
- Extra weeks and music beyond the original game
The story has actual consequences, which helps it stand out from many other FNF mods.
Why Is It Called Blake Expansion?
The title can be a little confusing. It sounds like the mod is entirely about the character Blake, but that’s not actually the case. The name “Blake” comes from the creator’s real name, not from the in-game character.
Development and Credits
Blake Expansion was created by Ven0msGh0st. The idea for the project started in 2024, but active development began in August 2025. It is planned as a multi-volume project, so more updates and content may arrive in the future.
The mod was also optimized and made playable online by Echo on FNFGo.com, making it easier to enjoy without downloading the PC version.
If you are looking for a larger FNF experience filled with remixes, original songs, dark storylines, and extra characters, Friday Night Funkin’: Blake Expansion is definitely worth checking out.
